Larkspur Coloring Pages
Larkspur grows in towers, with dozens of small blossoms opening from the bottom of each stalk to the top. It's the July birth flower.
Larkspurs shoot up on tall stalks, sometimes as tall as a small child, which makes a stand of them a handy hiding spot for a troll who would rather stay out of the sun.
Each larkspur blossom has a pointed spur at the back that looks like a tiny claw, which is where the name comes from: the claw of a lark. A dragon would think it was a very small claw, but would probably still approve.
True blue is a rare color in a garden, and larkspur is one of the few flowers that manages it. A larkspur fairy gets to wear a color most flowers can only dream about.

About Larkspur:

Larkspur holds some of the deepest blues in the garden, the kind of blue you find in a swimming hole on a hot day, or in the sky just before the first stars come out. There are violets and soft pinks too, and whites that seem to glow at dusk.
Picture a tall stalk of them standing in a meadow like a tower of tiny blue bells, with feathery green leaves gathered at the bottom like a skirt. It's a little piece of the summer sky that put down roots.
