Asters Coloring Pages
Aster is the Greek word for “star”, and one look at the petals fanned out around a yellow center shows why. They bloom late in the year, often right up until the first frosts, so they're still putting on a show when most of the garden has gone to sleep. Asters are also the September birth flower.
About Asters:

Asters come in the colors of a late summer evening. There are deep purples that look like dusk, soft pinks like the last light on the clouds, cool blues, and whites that seem to glow once the sun goes down.
Picture a whole hillside of them, a purple haze dotted with little yellow centers like tiny lanterns, with the bees still buzzing around because there's not much else left in bloom. It's like a piece of the night sky landed in the grass, with the stars close enough to touch.
