Cats Coloring Pages
I love my cat. Her name is Mara and she annoys me every day. She's very food motivated, to the extent that she tries to trip me on the off chance I might drop a cheerio.
And every evening she cuddles and purrs on my lap, mostly earning my forgiveness. Adorable, mystical, annoying, magical... you pick the word.

Cat Coloring Pages by Style
Cats for Adults
Detailed scenes for grown-ups and older teens with cats on fences and windowsills or napping by the fire. Lots of small spaces make these a good fit for fine-tip markers and colored pencils.
Cute Cats
Big eyes and simple lines make these cute cats easy for little ones to color. There are cats napping in the sun and chasing yarn and one with a serious case of the zoomies. If you've ever owned a cat you know the box is always more exciting than whatever came in it.
Kittens
Kittens are born with their eyes closed. They open after a week or so and that's when the mischief starts. These pages have kittens climbing into flower pots and playing in pumpkin patches and generally speaking being very kitteny!
Kawaii Cats
Kawaii is the Japanese word for cute. Kawaii cats have huge sparkly eyes and tiny noses and they're often dressed up in collars and bows.
Realistic Cats
These are drawn from real breeds so you can compare them up close. There are fluffy Persians and Scottish Folds with their little folded ears plus a hairless Sphynx. The Maine Coon is the largest pet cat breed and its tufted ears and bushy tail make it a fun one to color.
Zentangle Cats
Zentangle art fills a shape with small repeating patterns called tangles. These cats are packed with detail so they suit older kids and adults who like a slow and relaxing coloring project.
Cat Doodles
Doodle pages are filled edge to edge with small drawings. They're nice for coloring a bit at a time.

Holiday Cats
Cats celebrate all year long. There's a kitten peeking out of an Easter basket and a shamrock cat for St. Patrick's Day plus Valentine's cats and plenty of witchy Halloween cats. There's even a cat with a birthday cake.
Halloween Cats
Black cats have been linked with witches and magic for centuries. Whether they're lucky depends on where you live. In Britain and Japan a black cat is often a sign of good luck. These pages have witch's cats and pumpkin patch kittens plus a few nervous scaredy cats.
Cats from Mythology
Cats turn up in myths all over the world. Bastet guarded Egyptian homes and Freya's chariot was pulled by two large cats. In Japan the maneki neko raises one paw to beckon good luck into shops and homes.
Famous Cats
Cats from nursery rhymes and poems share this page with cats from video games. You'll find the Owl and the Pussycat and the Cheshire Cat alongside Minecraft cats and Meowth. T.S. Eliot's Macavity the mystery cat is there too.
Cats with Other Animals
Cats sharing the page with birds and bunnies and hedgehogs and the odd nervous mouse. Some of them are friends. The goldfish may have other ideas.
Big Cats
Lions and tigers and cheetahs and lynx each have their own page. Leopards are strong climbers and often drag their dinner up a tree to keep it away from lions and hyenas.
Cat Quotes and Word Art
Cat puns and old sayings to color. "You're purr-fect" makes a sweet homemade card. My favourite is "Dogs come when they're called. Cats take a message and get back to you later." Mara agrees.
More Cat Printables
A few extras that don't have a page of their own. The labelled cat is handy for teaching vocabulary and the connect the dots and color by letters pages are good for little ones practising numbers and letters.
Fun Facts About Cats
Fun Fact #1: Cats have a strong preference for using their left or right paw, just like humans are right or left-handed. Studies have shown that male cats are more likely to be left-pawed, while females are more likely to be right-pawed.
Fun Fact #2: The ancient Egyptians worshipped a cat goddess named Bastet. They believed she protected their homes and families and would often depict her as a lioness or as a woman with the head of a lioness.
Fun Fact #3: Cats spend a whopping 70% of their lives sleeping! That means if a cat lives to be 15 years old, they will have spent around 10 years of their life snoozing away.
Fun Fact #4: Cats have a unique way of communicating with their humans. They use a combination of body language, facial expressions, and vocalizations like purring and meowing to let you know how they're feeling. Adult cats meow at humans but not at each other... Mara really likes meowing at me at about 5:45am. *sigh*
