Ground-type Pokemon Coloring Pages

Welcome to our Ground-type Pokémon coloring pages!

Ground Pokémon are tied to the earth and underground environments, with designs ranging from burrowing creatures to rock-based beasts. Their earthy tones and solid forms make them fun and dynamic to color.

Ground-types are strong against Fire-, Electric-, Poison-, Rock-, and Steel-type Pokémon, but they are weak against Water-, Ice-, and Grass-type moves. Some Ground Pokémon have special abilities like Sand Veil, which boosts evasion in a sandstorm, or Arena Trap, which can prevent opponents from fleeing, giving them unique tactical options.

Ground-type Pokémon are among the strongest offensively, being super-effective against five other types—just like Fighting-types. Moves like Earthquake are powerful and accurate, making Ground-types a solid choice in battles.

In early generations, many Ground-type Pokémon were also Rock-type, giving them significant disadvantages (4× weakness) to Grass and Water moves. Most newer Ground-types avoid this dual-typing, making them more versatile and durable in battle.

In Generations 1–3, all Ground-type moves were categorized as Physical.
