Welcome to our Flying-type Pokémon coloring pages!
Flying Pokémon are masters of the skies, featuring feathered wings, sleek bodies, or bat-like designs that make them exciting to color. Their airborne agility and aerial maneuvers give them dynamic and visually striking poses.
Flying-types are strong against Bug, Grass, and Fighting Pokémon, but they are weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock moves. Some Flying Pokémon have special abilities like Keen Eye, which prevents accuracy loss, or Intimidate, which lowers an opponent’s Attack, adding strategy to their speed and mobility.

Flying-type Pokémon are often based on birds or insects, with a few inspired by mythical creatures like dragons. They tend to be faster than most other types, giving them an edge in battles.
Nearly every Flying-type Pokémon has Flying as a secondary type, often paired with Normal. Only three Pokémon are pure Flying-type (Tornadus, Rookidee, and Corvisquire), while six others have Flying as their primary type (Noibat, Noivern, Corviknight, Cramorant, Bombirdier, and Flamigo). Since Generation 6, Flying has been paired with almost every other type.
In Generations 1–3, all Flying-type moves were categorized as Physical.
Effects of the Flying type
Flying-type Pokémon are immune to the effects of Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller, Electric Terrain, Grassy Terrain, Misty Terrain, and Psychic Terrain, as well as the Arena Trap ability.
They lose these immunities if affected by Gravity, Ingrain, Roost, Smack Down, Thousand Arrows, or if holding an Iron Ball.
The Aerilate ability changes Normal-type moves to Flying-type and increases their power by 20%.
During strong winds caused by Delta Stream, Electric, Ice, and Rock-type attacks become neutral against Flying-types.
The Gale Wings ability increases the priority of Flying-type moves.
Holding a Sky Plate or Sharp Beak increases the power of Flying-type moves by 20%.
Holding a Flying Gem boosts the power of a Flying-type move by 30%, and the gem is then consumed.
The Coba Berry, when held, neutralizes a super-effective Flying-type move.
