Welcome to our Normal-type Pokémon coloring pages!
Normal Pokémon come in many shapes and sizes, from cuddly companions to sleek, fast creatures. Their designs are often simple and cute, making them especially fun for younger artists.
Normal-types are generally weak only to Fighting-type moves, but they resist Ghost-type attacks entirely. Some Normal Pokémon have special abilities like Run Away, Pickup, or Scrappy, which give them unique advantages in battle.
Normal-type Pokémon are the most basic and common type in the Pokémon world. They can be found from the very first routes you explore, and while most are single-type, many have a secondary type, often Flying. Later generations introduced Normal Pokémon paired with various other types, adding variety to this classic group.
In Generations 1–3, all Normal-type moves were categorized as Physical.
Effects of the Normal type
The moves Foresight and Odor Sleuth, along with the Scrappy ability, allow Normal-type moves to hit Ghost-type Pokémon.
Ion Deluge and Plasma Fists temporarily change Normal-type moves to Electric-type for the rest of the turn.
The Normalize ability turns all of a Pokémon’s moves into Normal-type moves and increases their power by 20%.
The abilities Aerilate, Galvanize, Pixilate, and Refrigerate change Normal-type moves to Flying, Electric, Fairy, and Ice types, respectively, and increase their power by 20%.
Holding a Silk Scarf increases the power of Normal-type moves by 20%.
Holding a Normal Gem boosts the power of a Normal-type move by 30%, and the gem is then consumed.
The Chilan Berry, when held, reduces damage from Normal-type moves by 50%.
