Welcome to our Boreas, Greek god of the North Wind coloring pages section.

The north wind brings cold winter gusts and storms, showing the power and chill of the northern skies.

About the north wind, Boreas:

icy blizzard surrounding Boreas of the north wind

I am Boreas, the north wind, and I ride the high peaks and valleys of Greece. My breath sweeps across the mountains, stirring the snow into dancing whirlwinds, and the olive trees shiver under my passing. I am the chill that wakes the dawn and the gust that drives the clouds across the sky. Mortals call me cruel, but I am no more cruel than the air that fills their lungs. I am life, motion, the pulse of winter itself.

I remember the laughter of sailors struggling against my gales, their sails snapping and ropes straining. I remember the young athletes running across the fields, feeling my fingers of frost bite at their cheeks, the way they gasped and shouted in surprise. I delight in the rush of motion, the play of power that comes when the wind tests them, when the trees bow and the waves rise. All the world bends to me, if only for a moment, and I revel in it.

I chase the clouds across the peaks of Thrace and the plains of Thessaly. I sweep down to the cities, tangling with banners, tossing the hair of women as they walk through the market, tugging at the edges of their cloaks. No mortal can hold me, no mountain can cage me. I am free, unstoppable, and ancient.

Tonight, the stars glint across the snow-covered hills, and I twist through the chill night air, shaping the world as I always have. I am Boreas, the north wind, and the air itself is mine.
