The Story of St. David:

Long ago, in the beautiful land of Wales, there was a boy named David. Born in the early 6th century, David was raised in the gentle countryside, surrounded by green hills and singing rivers. From a young age, David had a special gift: he was wise and kind-hearted, and people felt happier whenever he was around.

David grew up to become a monk and dedicated his life to spreading goodness and helping others. He built a small monastery where people could come to pray, learn, and share their worries. David also taught people how to care for the land, and soon, beautiful gardens and farms surrounded the monastery.

One day, while David was teaching in front of a crowd of people, something miraculous happened. As he spoke, the ground beneath his feet began to rise up, forming a small hill so that everyone could see and hear him. A dove gently landed on his shoulder, and the crowd knew they were witnessing something truly special.

David traveled all over Wales, bringing joy and hope wherever he went. He founded many churches and monasteries, and he taught people to love one another and live peacefully. David was so loved and admired that people called him "Saint David."

Even after Saint David passed away, the people of Wales never forgot his kindness and teachings. Every year on March 1st, they celebrate Saint David's Day by wearing daffodils and leeks, singing songs, and sharing stories about their beloved saint.

And so, the story of Saint David continues to inspire the people of Wales, reminding them to be kind, care for others, and cherish their beautiful homeland.

The end.
